Water resistant vs waterproof phone
If your phone drops in the pool or is wet with rain you must know if this is your phone water resistant or waterproof because caution waterproof and water-resistant are different and As it is wet, measures have to be taken accordingly.
Water resistant: A phone that is water resistant can resist a few drops or sprays of water, but it probably won’t survive a bath.
Waterproof: Even after being completely submerged in water for a specific amount of time, a waterproof phone will still function.

Firstly I must dry my cell phone with an absorbent cloth, after that, I have to shake it gently hence all the water drops come out, lately, I should keep my cell phone in an air-tight bag with rice therefore rice will absorb all the water drops that are in cell phone.
What does waterproof mean?
A waterproof product prevents water from entering and can withstand weather conditions. Anything that prevents water from entering is considered waterproof. In a nutshell, a waterproof object or material cannot be passed through by water.
As a practical, I have a waterproof cellphone that sinks in a tub full of water, my cellphone sinks in it, I lift my cell phone, dry it with an absorbent cloth, and start using it. Water does not cause any damage to it since my cell phone is waterproof.
